A very pretty hellebore - and great how you photographed it with fine sharpness of the spots and "inner life" and inclusion of green leaves and buds soon to open up. Bravo, Sally!!!Wish I could send some sun over to you - it's been shining steadily for almost a week, however, it is cold!!

i agree with everyone else! such a beautiful flower!! and it seems as though it's combining both spring – that explosion of pinkish purple! – and winter – the snowy whiteness! – in its petals! have a great weekend, sally! hugs, sabine. p.s.: the first of our crocusses committed suicide today! never changed their appearance from purple pencil to blooming crocus but simply fell over like chopped down trees. sniff, sniff ; )!Vera M.
