Well done, Alex, I like the way you altered the picture, it looks like an old painting and fits very well to the title you gave it.Unfortunatly, the only way (maybe....) to travel back in the past is by imagination - one wonders who once used the barrels and with what, or what the massive gear in the foreground once drove (a pump?). Then all the humans around it come to mind, with all their destinies and their signs of doing, work and maybe hardship connected to it.
Pondering, musing, speculating.... :-) All induced by your interesting picture!
