Under the street lamp
A lucky handheld shot at night using my grandfathers Leica from 1932... yielding an unexpected result !
It is not quite framed as I wanted, I wrongly estimated the parallax displacement.
It was a funny scene, there were people with huge high tech DSLRs on tripods, and there we were, fiddling with this tiny 87 year old device and the lightmeter app on my phone, setting the exposure time, focussing through the rangefinder, framing, taking a deep breath both of us - and "click"!
Leitz Camera Standard and Elmar 5cm f3.5 lens
Kodak Portra400, f3.5, exposure probably 1/30.

Very much agree with Jajaouterspace! There is a wonderful cinematic mood to this one which well overcomes any technical limitations. And of course, the classic beauty of your model and her upward gaze makes the shot very special.And isn't it nice, in these days of auto-everything and instant gratification, to be out there carefully and deliberately shooting film, trying to make every shot count for something. Oh, yes, and the anticipation of seeing the results when they come back from the lab...

P.S: Perhaps you've already tried this but not published, but I'm wondering if a tighter crop, either square or 4x5 aspect, might not also work. Your subject certainly commands attention in the original, but I'd imagine a tighter crop, still showing some of the bokeh patterns of the night lights for context, might serve her even better. Just a thought...
