Walk on a marsh 3

Greece
The wetland of Amvrakikos Gulf in Central West Greece, region of Hepirus(for more information please refer to the first photo in the series Thank you very much).
The wetmeadows and the marsh of Rodia.

The wet meadows and the mudflats of Rodia are considered among the largest in Europe and are the habitat of rare species of birds. It's really amazing how solid becomes the soil permitting even to walk on it and equally amazing are the colours under the seasonal changes. The mudflats become exceptionally rich and thick during the rain seasons.
