Dennis, the roofs on these cottages need re thatching approx every 10 years, I think!!
Adbul, I presumme you mean the roof, this is made of treated straw, the trade of making these roofs is a dying art here in the UK onle very few firms exist that carry on this trade.
Yasemin, there would be plenty of attic space in this kind of cottage.I think in this cottage the attic space is not lived in, probably just used for storage
I like this Dom, an idyllic country cottage.
Hmm I used to live not far from here many years ago, perhaps I should go back with my camera.
I definitely need to get out more [with my camera that is ;-)]
