Worth the wait
Like so many I used to think, Majorca? Goodness! No! And even today at work when I told people, I felt I had to explain myself... But it was one of the best holidays I've had. Platja de Palma, right on the beach for early morning or evening walks and just a bus ride (€1,10) into to that lovely old town! On the first evening, this was the reward for my afternoon walk.
Wie so viele, dachte ich mal Mallorca, nein danke! Auch heute nach dem Urlaub hatte ich das Gefühl, dass ich mich rechtfertigen müßte. Aber es war ein super erholsamer Urlaub. Direkt am Strand für herrliche Spaziergänge, Bus für €1,10 nach Palma Altstadt hinein. Der erste Abendspaziergang wurde damit gelohnt!

aaaah!! you should have taken the antique tren to Puerto de Soller on the other side of the island!! haven't been there in decades so it may be slightly changed, but yes, the sights anywhere on the island are breathtaking, as you have well captured after your "wait" take care & tschuss!!!Manuel Gloger 23/11/2008 0:08
War vor etlichen Jahren nur einmal für 5 Tage im Januar auf Mallorca (Wheinachtsgeschenk für meine Mutter) und mußte mein Vorurteil auch revidieren. Besonders der Nordwesten ist sehr sehenswert.Dein Abendspaziergang wurde, wie man sieht, mit einem traumhaften Sonnenuntergang belont.
