Jos Mariën

I was born on June 1st 1933 in a small village near Antwerp called Edegem, so I'm not so young anymore but I feel myself young with the camera in my hand. At 1973 I started with photography on my own but now I'm member a photo group. After a few years of searching for a own style, in the beginning I developed my film and pictures first on RC paper and later on barite paper for tonality, I switched in 1999 ( the bridge to the 21st century) my darkroom for a computer with scanners, photo printer and tablet. Still a step further to continue in digital photography and also the sickness of my wife, which result in no time to develop film, I have changed on digital photography.
The photo's I prefer are candid portraits, nature and infrared. I'm not a contest photographer but I like to do exhibitions, on my own or with a group. In the fotocomunity .de i was member N° 9 and helper from AM.
