A propos de moi
Marj Clayton was born and brought up in Canada. In the 1970s, she started taking pictures under the guidance of her father, Charlie. After studying photography for a couple years she left Canada to live in the U.K, Bolivia and Ghana. Her work has been exhibited in a number of venues including The National Portrait Gallery and at the Royal Photographic Society. Marj was commissioned to take the photographs for Oxfam’s ‘Bolivia Profile’ book and images from her Ghana series was printed in ‘photojournalism’ published in Spain and the UK. In 2003, she won ‘Travel Photographer of the Year’ and has been shortlisted for several competitions sponsored by The British Journal of Photography.
