Richard Newman

Richard sits on the advisory boards of the following schools and organizations: Watkins College of Art and Design- Nashville TN.Texas Photographic Graphic Society- San Antonio TX. East Los Angeles City College Los Angeles CA and the Center for Photographic Art-Carmel CA. He has lectured in the United States, England and Australia. Richard has taught workshops for The Calumet Institute, The Smithsonian-Library of Congress Folklife Series, The Santa Fe Workshops on the Road, and The Texas Photographic Society. Richard has produced and directed two one hour films (DVD) on photographic lighting technique, Portrait Lighting Techniques with Dennis Keeley and Portrait Lighting Techniques with Bobbi Lane. He is currently scoring a project about Yellowstone National Park in collaboration with California State University Monterey Bay. At present Richard is the National Education Coordinator for Calumet Photographic.
