My name is Julia Pool, I am 21 years old and I live in Vienna, Austria.
Since I was twelve years old, I have been fascinated by the authenticity, beauty and expressiveness that photography can exude.
At that time, I didn't know how to express this feeling but I always tried to photograph people who I knew were not really comfortable with their appearance, altough I saw so much potential.
I wanted to show them how beautiful they are, how strong they are, how unique they are.

They felt my conviction and became more and more confident in what they were doing. I can say the same thing about myself - there was nothing better than seeing the happy faces after I showed the models the results.
We strengthened each other, and that is what resulted in a tremendous passion for photography.

Today I know that high fashion and beauty photography is where I can express my enthusiasm for photography the best.
The combination of fashion and beauty, regarding the image and the model, is what gives a fashion magazine the magic issue after issue.
For me there is nothing better than being part of exactly that.
