I've noticed the exact same thing! I know a really great photo developing place here in Pasadena that sells film, so I can at least get 100 asa. I live in Pasadena CA but I'm from Toronto Canada originally. California is a photographer's paradise--there is pretty much every kind of natural environment here--incredible coastline, deserts, valleys, mountains, rolling hills, gigantic trees, amazing sunsets...the list goes on and on. You could spend a lifetime just exploring California alone. It's also close to other places like the Grand Canyon, Arizona deserts, Zion national Park, Bryces National Park. But I'm partial to landscape photography. So many incredible places, so little time...sigh...
Yes, I was shooting film until just last May, in fact! I have my dad's old (40+ years old) pentax slr. Great little camera. No digital camera built today will still be functioning 40 years from now. It's just too bad it's getting harder and harder to find good film. There's something I still really like about loading a film camera.
Hey ... hab jetz erst deine "Quik Mail", die du mir vor ca. einem Monat (!!!!) mal geschickt hast gelesen weil ich nicht gemerkt hab das mein "Popup-blocker" sie die ganze Zeit blockt.. *schäm*
Naja wollt mich entschuldigen... hätte eigentlich sofort zurückgeschrieben :(
