My passion for photography started during my childhood. My mother, who passed away when I was only 7 years old, loved to take photos and she shared her passion with my father and of course, me. Thanks to that love for photography I keep my memories of her alive today by looking at those photographs taken by my parents many years ago.

Taking photos back in my motherland Cuba was a challenge. After the triumph of the communist revolution, the acquisition of materials to produce a single photograph was very hard. I grew up without a camera and with a shattered dream of one day becoming a photographer.

Coming to America gave me the opportunity to pursue my dream of becoming a photographer. Thanks to the advances in technology I discovered the beautiful world of Digital Photography.

When I bought my first camera, I started to photograph wild life because I was sure the subjects would never complain of a bad angle or portrait. Nature Photography was great, but you can never compare it to taking the image of a person with all the different ranges of emotions. The most beautiful image of the most magnificent animal will never outshine the portrait of a happy child looking back at you while taking their portrait.

I live my life One Frame at a Time. I believe that a single image can hold the memories of the moment. A memory that will never be the same in reality but will repeat itself every time you look back at that frame of your life in the photograph. A photograph can do more than just document the day; the camera can be used to tell a story. The story of your special day that you will treasure for years to come.
