A Morning Walk with Lola
I have chosen to put this in the Philippines section because this photograph is very Filipino. "Lola" is the Filipino word for "Grandma." We Filipinos care for our parents and elderly and it is not uncommon to see grandchildren talking a long morning walk with their "lola." The grandchildren accompany their "lola" to make sure she gets her daily exercise and doesn't trip on pebbles along the beach. You can see the little boy walking ahead but glancing back at his grandmother. (photo taken at beach in Gansan, Marinduque)

I like Lola too, she walks nice and slow, so the kids can really enjoy the beach. Nice, that the eldest one already looks after her Lola, supporting her. I just love the interaction between generations, unfortunately it rarely exists nowadays in the western world. a nice pic, with lots to see.xoxo
