A New Day #9

When the clock strikes the beginning of an operation it is easy to see that today is no different than the last day. So see it as a time to find your connection with the Holy one, to ask him to be in their hands and fingers at the edge of a sterilized blade. For some it is a good days work and their pride is in the uniform they wear clean before the blood. The blood of christ is in all if you see your profession that way.

very impressive this scene and mood of what there is to come, difficult to bear witness and photograph - I am sure (I was allowed to take photos at the C-section of my younger daughter - what an experience3 )

Not easy to look upon but hard to take your eyes from this scene. Emotions are high and so is expectancy

    hi ya glenn,
this is a very strong piece of documentary photography, an exercice of exploring life, you show us something that most people don´t want to see becauce they´re put off with the situation, yet it is something that belongs to life - yours, mine, everyones.when i looked at the picture - and indeed the entire series - it brought to my mind a reminisence to an book called "the knife and gun club" this picturestory is as strong as his, but undoubtedly a real Capers: visuallised as seen, felt and recorded by an concerning eyewitness. chapeau, mate!
    greetings harald
