a campground in the Baja Peninsula, Mexico ... a very primitive "toilet" .... a turkey vulture sitting very close to the entrance of it - pretty creepy ....,
but I ran back to our van, got my camera, got this image and the lesson: don't go ANYWHERE without your camera :-))))))

A creepy scene with the vulture right outside of the outhouse. Good shot, as it is a very nice closeup, and a good story behind it.Regards,
Archie

: ))) look back in hunger, or: vulture bliss is… skimming off the scum! ; )he looks vaguely regretful… yet another potential supper that made it out of the plumpsklo alive! should he move on to to a different, more miasmal spot? well, at least that lady took his picture! if it goes viral on the internet, who knows, there may be an epidemic with hope for some casualties… life's a jammertal without a juicy carcass from time to time! ; )
how loodicrously lucky you were here, adele! a hilarious story, and a great capture of a fascinating bird, so well suited for his… craft! the fleshy head and melancholy grin – very impressive! hugs, sabine.
