Amanita Muscaria B/W
This must be the best Amanita I have ever seen. It was perfectly lit by the autumn sun in a swedish forest. It has a deep red-ish to orange colour palette...tinkering with it in Photoshop it somehow looked special in B/W, that's why I've chosen this version. Or should I just go for the original colours?

The overburn would have been a disaster in colour with one of these. In this case I think it is minor considering the sharpness across the whole cap. Cracking monochrome Lucien.Regards

The sun was very bright, so the left side was indeed overburned; I couldn't do much about it (besides buying a more expensive camera :-).Ron Couwenberg 20/10/2006 15:59
Lucien, B/W works for me!. The left side is a bit overburned, some details is lost there.Hmm, I wonder how the color version looks like?.
Greetings,
Ron.
