@ Nicole: I should have taken the chance to take a few pictures from a positon you suggest, just, might be, to compare the results. My idea was to get most of the cars into the picture to dramatize the situation in the heavy traffic. As I remember I thought for a second about that chance, but I had not the courage...:-))

Cool scenery in an interesting environment. I can imagine it hasn't been possible for you to stand a little closer or has it been a deliberate choice? Anyway, it's pleasant to discover also all the small details of your very nice picture.
