  Thanks for your email.
  I posted the two extra pictures of Ridsdale, because Reimo Ketolainen had commented that i had captured the whole of the village in a previous picture, which was not quite true.
  Also _ I posted these picturs of this village - Ridsdale - because the member who calls himself "Road-flyer" (!), (Gunter), had previously posted a better picture of thos same village - which I recognised,

It is nice to see those hillsides and wide landscape.

  I think the distinctive thing about places like Ridsdale, and nearby Woodburn, on the A68 road is the wide-open views, and the sense of distance.
  I struggle to capture it.
