Barong comes to the settlement

The Bangkal arrives the village to bring good influence after finish the Kuningan celebration.

Bangkal means a big old pig, therefore this Barong resembles a bangkal or ladang, this Barong is also commonly called Barong Celeng or Barong Bangkung.

Generally performed by going around the village (ngelelawang) by two dancers on certain days that are considered sacred or when an epidemic attacks the village without presenting a play and accompanied by gamelan drums.
