Basilica Menor de San Francisco de Asis
The church was used for their worship by the English during the year in which they ruled Havana. When it returned to Spanish rule, they chose not to use it as a church. It is now used for concerts. Attached to the Basilica is a bell tower.
Since 2005, a part of the old monastery now is functioned as a children's theater for the neighborhood's young residents.

Schade, in einem komunistischen Land, sind die Kirchen dem Vervall preisgegeben.Gruß aus Indonesien, Dieter
