Such a grand picture and such sadness in the aftermath.
I have seen the effects after the Tsunami in Thailand.
I was unable to photograph any of it, as it was a graveyard.
God bless them all!!
Oh my goodness! I just realized that the imbedded picture is of the site of those beautiful homes. Not just the human lives - so much National history gone too.
Karin, an utter travesty. I don't think people understand how bad it is and how many people are affected. Such a touching, beautiful picture of the Deep South - and the accompanying devastation. I know my home state of Michigan is taking in 30,000 families. The economy is so bad there as it is - I really fear for the aftermath. It's really just begun.
This is a hauntingly beautiful image. Very well taken
Unglaublich, was in der Region nun abgeht.
Karin, I can feel your pain, believe me.
If something horrible like this happened
to my friends in SA I would be in deep
sorrow too.
Hope you hear from them soon.
Love Rita
Very nice picture, Karin. Sad that this is all wiped out.
It`s a real disaster for the people who lived there, especially Dana Jeandron...
Greetings,Cees

All the Mississipi just in a shot. The trees with their glycine give a poetic atmosphere.
