In Iran there is a custom once in a year , people out to the streets and pray for one another... Apparently looks it is coming from Islam,but it is an old ceremony from Mitra (sun) time in ancient Iran ,instead of sacrificing ( young people as it was a custom in some other civilizations simultaneously , or animals ) , to light candle to pray to gods & goddesses , mostly Mitra ," Goddess of being " to turn the bad things out of beloved one's lives and still is performing the same but with another name.Anyway it is one of the really beautiful time that people mostly are being like A soul to pray for LOVE...
