Brackwespe

Die Wespe auf dem Foto vom 30. Juni 2019 halte ich für eine Brackwespe. Ausschlaggebend für die Bestimmung war die Ähnlichkeit der Wespe zu Vertretern der Gattung Coeloides.

Gefunden habe ich die Wespe an einem Holzstapel neben einem Waldweg. Sie saß mit den Flügeln nach unten und der Körperlängsachse schräg zur Kamera unter einem Baumstamm. Um sie einigermaßen bildfüllend aufzunehmen musste ich die Kamera drehen und kippen, so dass es aussieht, als ob sie senkrecht am Stamm saß.

Bei der Aufnahme wurde ein Systemblitz mit einer Minisoftbox verwendet. Das Originalbild wurde beschnitten und nachgeschärft. Die Tiefen wurden bearbeitet.



The wasp shown on the photo is probably a Braconid Wasp. This identification bases on the similarity of the wasp to members of the genus Coeloides.

When I found the wasp, it was sitting on a stack of wood with its dorsal face directed downwards and the length axis of its body oriented obliquely to the camera. I had to tilt the camera in a complex way to get this photo. As a consequence, the orientation of the wasp has changed considerably on the photo.

An external flash and a minisoftbox were used to take this picture. The original photo was cropped. Image sharpness and shadows were adjusted.
