Broad-leaved Cottongrass

Broad-leaved cottongrass is a very rare plant of swamps and tundra bogs.
This grass species is most conspicuous in fruit, when it produces silky-white cotton-like plumes.

This cottongrass is classified as critically endangered on the “Red List of vulnerable and threatened species”.
The plant is only protected by law since 1 january 2017…....
