Chinese forest railways

The northern Chinese Province of Heilongjiang was once covered by numerous narrow-gauge railway lines serving the forest exploitation. The small town of Weihe, East of Harbin City, was the center of one of these lines that survived until 2003. This is the daily passenger train on its way to the terminus at Zhonghe.
