Here I prefere color instead of B&W. For photographers sunsets are very dangerous! It's a narrow and difficult path between good shots and "postcards" and depends on your taste. So everybody has his own taste and so I dared to expose and edit it a bit. Photo was taken at the Dutch Northsea Coast

i know the "sunset problem" so well. i've caught myself catching sunsets and making them look so much more melodramatic than they really were – my tiny olympus even has a "sunset mode", can you believe it?! to make sure non of those nuances of red, orange and yellow are lost! your sunset here, happening above a "black sea", is gorgeous! it reminds me of a water-color painting – a photo that looks like a painting, not a digital picture manipulated into one in post-production, which would be an atrocity ; )! lg, sabine.Dragomir Vukovic 05/09/2010 1:15
