    I find the composition very interesting. The black area, dividing the blue and green areas, gives me the idea of an almost torn postcard. My compliments.

      You are right. Over many years - I have taken more conventional pictures of cliffs - with the rocky surfaces lit up. 
       But if the cliffs sometimes appear in stark shadow - silhouetted against the sea - then you do get a more interesting image.
       When i walked along this particular coastal path - I liked seeing the sheep grazing right upto the edge of a very steep drop. They were unworried. They even  seemed to be enjoying the view.
