      Well.
Last wednesday - for the first time in 7 weeks - my wife and I risked taking the car, and we drove for an hour to the north of our county - for a quiet, early morning walk.  There were very few people walking on this beach.
If these pictures are abstract - they reflect my general frame of mind.
The sky is excluded - because we are not free.
We are restricted - because of the disease - and so - I look for pleasure in the detail of the light on the sand.
I am somewhat disinterested, and disinclined to look at the "bigger picture".
But - I do also get great enjoyment from the patterns formed by the light, the water and the sand. "Nature's writing", I suppose.
      Mark.
