Common Ragwort
Common Ragwort prefers generally to grow in cool and high rainfall areas.
It has a long flowering period lasting from june till november.
During this period 1 plant may produce 2000 to 2500 yellow wild flowers and about 100.000 (!) seeds.
Ragwort is poisonous to some animals, especially horses and cattle, and can be lethal if consumed in excess !

German name : Jakobs-Greiskraut (auch Jakobs-Kreuzkraut genannt)
Latin name : Senecio jacobaea

Hi Mark, dies ist eine sehr schöne und sehr gelungene Aufnahme dieser Blütenpflanze, die ich auch sehr gern mag, ich find sie wunderschön. Du hast sie sehr schön mit den sonnigen Blütchen gegen den dunklen HG festgehalten.Und bitte verzeih mir, ich hab mich sooo lange nicht gemeldet.
