I don't think that this photo is meant to be an insider joke. It is in fact an insider photo for those who took part of yesterdays photo shooting day through town. But it is certainly not meant as joke.
With this picture Ende Gut wanted to show up that disabled people are also able to take part at the "rushing past and fast" way of life.
You just said that this forum is a mainly english spoken forum, that's correct but you also said it correctly that it is only "mainly" an english spoken one!
Greeting to wherever you are on this globe s'Doppelpäggli
My opinion is also that within the fc.com (nota bene an international forum lets better say world fc forum) every language should be at home and usuable. That means that within the fc world the german language should be accepted as part of the world.
Sure, this pucture and the comments to it start a different type of discussion which might be of need to be discussed.
Das werde ich noch lange in bester Erinnerung behalten. Danke dir und allen anderen auch.
Hi Rob - HI Sandra
you have given a comment to Ende Gut's photo.
"I don't think you will get anything more than ??? if you post such a blurred image here in .com with just a German title."
and
" ???"
The remark and questionmarks from you and Sandra Lambert symbolize very clearly that people can't understand how it is being disabled....
Ende Gut fotographed me here in this picture - I am a wheelchair and an electical wheelchair driver 'cause I've got MS (Multiple sclerosis).
Yesterday we had a great fc shooting day in town - it was not only very interesting no it was also great fun for all of us.
On the Minster Place I fellt like walking (driving in my case) through the Autumn leaves on the ground. It was lovely to feel the leaves underneath me, to smell the Autumn and be part of normal life. So I made my rounds in my e-wheelchair, at first slowly and then faster and faster like at the fair!
The result was this and many other photos because not only was it fun for me, but also for all others who were the fc members and strangers.
The photo is not a blurred photo which one ought to chuck away no it's a photo which shows another part of life - one of someone having fun who ist in fact disabled and can't usually take part of normal life.
I love the picture, then it shows a couple of minutes of being relaxed and just having fun - the child in everyone of us. Just letting onesself go and being young, stupid and playung around with life at a time where life is usually just a hard time, struggeling with small and big things each day in order to cope with this new disabled life.
Or have you never seen a diabled person having fun, if that is the case then you are a poor guy and I'd recommend to get in contact with disabled people in able to feel their life and how much life can still make fun.
I am part of this blurred life and I love it....
I hope one day you can also take part of it, it's worth it believe me.
greetings from a disabled person who is still a person being able to have fun - no not just have fun, who love being alive and bei able to feel life.
