Dolly's Stream
This happened after a snow and ice storm in Kentucky. I'd never seem so much water stream down the hills behind my Great Grandmother Dolly's house. I thought it deserved some admiration.

Herbert has some good advice. The key to a shot like this where there is not a lot of light is keeping the camera still. If on automatic it will record long enough to get the right amount of light. Any movement on cloudy days will result in blurry photos. -archieHerbert2 07/02/2009 8:16
Most of your pics are not sharp for landscape pics but sharp for closeups. That looks like a small pocket camera to me. One has to know what camera you are using maybe it is not you but the camera is not very suitable for landscape pics. Don't let this bother you keep on doing pics. The camera is usually not such a problem, small cameras also make nice pics as long as you know the camera and its limitations well. A commom problem with people is that they pull the camera while taking the shot. Try to make a free hand shot as you alway do and then from the same subject a shot from a tripod or other solid rest. If there is a difference it is you, if not then it is the camera.Herbert
