Extreme Urban ?

During my recent trip to Italy i visited Isola Maggiore, a small island in lake Trasimeno. While wandering around this sparsely inhabited place i came accros an abandoned Castle the Castello Guglielmi. This castle was built around a much older monastry and convent dating from 1328.

The property is nowadays completely derelict, and is closed to the public. The gate in the wall surrounding the castle is closed, however i came across a small entrance which was open, and though a sign said that entrance was forbidden i just could not resist my curiosity and went in to have a look. Close to the official entrance i found an old chapel where apparently many years ago some sort of renovation was started. However this was never completed, were the workers scared of? The place certainly gave me the creeps !
