Facing the Barent Sea

The villag of Berlevag in the very north of Norway is an special experience. I spent three days up there, wandering in stormy conditons along the shores of the Barent Sea. There is a small camping ground witch offers also four rooms with central heating. There is also a hotel in the village but it looks rather shabby. Interesting too is the fact that the village people do not greet you if you pass by. I' ve discussed this with a couple of Finland, who both made the same experience. But don't get me wrong: this people are very friendly. It seems just that in a place as remote as Berlevag it is not necessary to greet each other, becaus your always aware of every person leaving at the place.
