aufgenommen während der diesjährigen ElPaso Airshow bzw. am Trainigstag am Freitag zu sehen an der vorderen Maschine
-während der Show gibt es nur einsitzige F16s

die Geschwindigkeit eines jeden Flugzeuges ist in etwa 600Miles/per/Hour --das ist knapp an den 1000 Stundenkilometern dran
viel Spass beim ausrechnen wie lange diese Aktion gedauert hat

Thank you for your interest in the Thunderbirds. The combined speed in this photo is 1,200 miles per hour - each aircraft is going about 600 miles per hour.

The photo is very good. It was taken on our practice day - hence the two seat aircraft with a pilot in the backseat. We will not fly two pilots in one aircraft on a show day. The maneuver is called the opposing knife edge pass.

No, the pilot in the backseat is actually Thunderbird #4. He is leaving the team soon and had not had a chance to fly any other demonstration positions, so the commander opted to have him fly in the backseat during a practice.
