Free swimming Lion's mane jellyfish

Dive at Koh Lipe in the Adang-Rawi archipelago. During the safety stop at a depth of 5 meters before surfacing, I encountered this colorful jellyfish, which seemed to be standing motionless in the shallows.
The hair jellyfish is also called fire jellyfish. One should beware of the fine tentacles, because the touch triggers the nematocysts, which penetrate the skin with the nettles and inject a poison into the body.
This species can reach a screen diameter of up to two meters; accordingly, the amount and length of the poisonous threads increase, which pulls the yellow hair jellyfish up to 20 meters behind.
