Frühling an der Mainzer Zitadelle oberhalb der Altstadt und dem Bahnhof Römisches Theater. Blick auf die nordöstliche Seite mit der Bastion Alarm und ihrem Wacherker. Davor ein Meer von herrlich weißblühenden Gänseblümchen auf den saftiggrünen Wiesen. Im Hintergrund (von links nach rechts) die Kuppel der Christuskirche, die Türmchen auf dem Gebäude der alten Universität, die Doppeltürme der Peterskirche und der Turm der Quintinskirche. Ein Anblick, der zum Verweilen und Betrachten einlädt.

In front of it there is a sea of wonderful white daisies on the lush green meadows. In the background (from left to right) the dome of the Christ Church, the turrets on the old university building, the double towers of the Peter Church and the tower of St. Quintin's Church. A sight that invites you to linger and contemplate.

Printemps à la citadelle de Mayence au-dessus de la vieille ville et de la gare du Théâtre romain. Vue du côté nord-est avec le bastion de l'Alarme et sa travée de garde. Devant lui, une mer de marguerites aux fleurs merveilleusement blanches sur les prairies verdoyantes. Au fond (de gauche à droite) la coupole de l'église du Christ, les tourelles de l'ancien bâtiment universitaire, les doubles tours de l'église Saint-Pierre et la tour de l’église Saint-Quentin. Un spectacle qui invite à s'attarder et à contempler.
