Dear Enne, thanks for your kind and long comment...
For me it's good to have the feeling that my opinion didn't strike you too much..;-))
So here we have the case that shows us that the same photo may have a different meaning for someone else. I took some time looking at it and tried to understand why it didn't catch me...in the sense of an "eyecatcher" ( as I mentioned I love abstract photos). Other people may be completly struck by it...as you mentioned.
Photography is communication - and for that it can be that at the moment I have a different "filter" as you have. This "Filter" for understanding changes during time - I have made this experience over many years.
So let's see and keep in touch - best wishes
Berthold

Berthold,I'd like to thank you for commenting on my "Gesture" photo. I appreciate it a lot, better off since your experience in photography is vast, though I feel sorry that you missed the dynamic era of it.
When I started shootings on "Gesture", I first turned my camera towards a warm source of light. The plan was to shoot continuously, moving the camera (in a circular sense) at the same time, in order to be combined both the lighting effect and the camera move (gesture).
The certain photo has been presented in several art exhibitions and a copy of it (1 out of 3) now belongs to its happy owner, a female psychologist from Greece.
Best regards,
Enne See.

I have a difficult approach here... I like abstract images, but perhaps here there's a bit dynamic missing...?
