Heath fritillary (Melitaea athalia)
I took this photo of a butterfly on the 30/06/2019 at 19:47 o'clock at a "habitat" close to the village "Thranenweier" in the German federal state "Rheinland-Pfalz" (Rhineland-Palatinate). "Thranenweier" belongs to the village "Börfink".
I used a Canon EOS 77D with the Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro lens. The image is resized and got a color correction of 20-235. I didn't edit it further yet. (3708)

I had to select a high sensitivity of ISO 1600 at the camera. It was already pretty late and thus a bit cold. That means that the butterfly is not moving fast anymore and can be photographed easier. But it also means that it is already a bit darker. The butterfly was constantly moving it wings and I had to use a fast exposure and thus couldn't use a tripod with a longer exposure.
