Hmong kid Npaim joins the festival
The little Hmong girl is threw a ball at me while triggering the snap photo.
The name Npaim means butterfly, I captured her during a thanks giving Hmong celebration called Tsa Hauv Toj festival.
Hmong culture shapes gender roles in that female culture is a culture in itself. The female gender is shaped beginning in childhood and to gain to high status,
The children too are dressed in traditional outfit and join the festival until late night.
The ethnic people of the Hmong celebrate their Tsa Hauv Toj festival north side of Luang Prabang were we got invited to join the celebration.
The Tsa Hauv Toj festival is celebrated every year in December and is comparable to the harvest festival in western culture.
