This is a very compelling image. I was immediately drawn to the thumbnail for I could see the engaging gaze of the bird as he makes his colorful presence known. The DOF really pulls the viewer in further to his perch. The background, even with it's areas of blue heat work just fine for me, the softening helps with the paleness, still giving definition to his place but not letting it overpower his majestic self.Wonderful,
