In Black and White...Holi Is Hell

When you think of Holi in India you see happy people, and happy tourist splashed with color. But no one ever thinks to look into the intensity of inner war. What the heck, We're foreigners we know nothing if National geographic show nice controlled color powder being tossed about on friends and families from the same temple. National Geographic never gets into the streets. Hoil is really not a coffee table book. Holi is also a time when one religious group lets go all their historical suppression. Some areas people put glass in hard pressed powder balls. Then the reports focus in the injuries, and the unfortunate loss of eye sight in some cases. But these are the people that are fighting for equality, and the end of classism, as well as political justice fro their opposition. Mathura streets is one of the roughest areas.
