It has been a while since my last upload. I do keep an eye on my buddies work on a daily basis but I took a break in active participation.
I had this one prepared for quite some time, still uncertain if it would contribute something to the Elsass-section.
It was early in the evening. The many tourists that filled the streets during the day had gone. You could hear a pin drop. There is no real point of interest in this picture but somehow it does breath the quiet atmosphere that I sensed there.
Well, here it is anyway, up to you to judge...

Canon F1n, 135mm, Kodak Portra 160VC, used green channel for B&W

Thanks Cees for your remark. The soft focus is partly because of the exposure time (1/15s @ 135mm without a tripod) and partly because of insufficient DOF (lens opened up to F2.8).
A bit more sharpness would be better but I took it for granted and pretended that it adds to the mood... :-)
    Groetjes,
    Robert

It`s a good composition, Robert. Good contrast and atmosphere. But I think the scan could be a bit sharper.
    Greetings, Cees
