Kreuz im Venn

‘Kreuz im Venn’ is the name of a 1,4 ton heavy and 6 meter high cross that was erected in 1890 on top of the 400 million years old Richelsley rock.

At the end of World War II, during the liberation of Belgium, the cross was frequently used by American soldiers who climbed to the the top of the cross to trace the enemy lines.
