Good to see someone else using the killer Canon
"Japanese Sonnar" rare and desirable Canon f1.5 50mm
This is a "cult" lens here in the USA and I have (2) of them, I use them sometimes more then my normal Leitz lenses, while this lens has an amazing signature and costs half of what a real? Zeiss Sonnar would in LTM
Happy Shooting!
Tom
PS: For all of those out there that are curious about why a Canon lens is on a Leica, should know that the market for screw mount lenses in the 1950`s was supplemented by many different lenses from Canon and Nippon Kogaku (NIkon) in the early and mid 1950`s these lenses had their heyday.....with many of them becoming legends, like the Canon f1.5 50mm the Nikkor Nippon Kogaku Tokyo f1.5 and f1.4 and f2.0 50mm and finally the f2.0 85mm
Anyone who hasn`t used Japanese lenses on their Leica does`nt know what they are missing, your creative element is endless......
