Beautiful magnolia Angelica, it is such an elegant and delicate flower. I love the darker pink in the middle fading to white at the top. They are out over here too now. I think it will stay dry for a few days too to enjoy them.Hugs

wow, angelika.what a surprise, and how thoughtful of you.
for those that did not know, in 2008 my wife pruned my magnolia that had flowered for the first time in that year.
a very severe pruning i might add, i was devastated.
i thought it was going to flower again this year, but, alas not to be, maybe 2012.
in the meantime this beautiful bloom will sustain me.
