Meals on Wheels
In Puntaranas, a small costal town in Costa Rica that makes it's living from tourist visiting from ocean cruise ships. Louise Rodreguez is a self contained man. HIs world is like the perfect self contained zen garden. His rolling gourmet kitchen is mad from sheet metal he welded together and an old grill top he scavenged in a back yard of odds and ends. HIs build in stove operates on coal, wood, scrub brush, scraps, or burnable refuge as in discarded oiled, greasy cloth if need be. Chicken, Fish, and, Popa Fritos all grilled on the top is often something unique for the the adventurous tourist. The food might not be French cuisine but it is costa Rican and with a dash of 151 proof rum. HIs dishes are also flambé.
The tall ships might have a challenge in regards for freshness, but now the local people walking the playa find what he makes affordable in support of a community member of the town.
