Thank you for your comments now you have pointed this out it does look as if her head is laying on a table etc. However if I can rember her cloths was not the best so that is why I croped to only her head but may of taken too much of :-)

sorry ... i don't like this portrait!

the set up could be much better - it almost looks like this would be a "cut off head" on a silver plate.

the eyes are much too low in the whole photo and the chin is almost sitting on the bottom edge of the frame.

i'd suggest a to lower the camera much more to get at least the whole throat and maybe a bit of the collar on the photo ... this would automaticly raise the eyes into the upper third ...

of course this is only my personal opinion and it's only one among others ... :-)

Agree with Martina & Rob technically excellent, a lovely portrait but personally the colour in those eyes give me the creeps :-)

great portrait! i love the chosesn b&w and the partial colour. the eyes are stunning, and yes indeed the girl looks lost in thoughts....:-) everything is pinsharp and the focus is beautifully set. well done you mr!
