No. 2. Some Of The Beautiful Butterflies Of Asia!! Story.
Here is yet another of these colourful beauties.
Such gentle little creatures, that nature has designed for a purpose,
on this earth.
The patterns are so well designed, as to offer camouflage to the plants
They usually feed on.
Many of these plants have been destroyed over time.
Enjoy the colours of nature, my friends.
Regards from Laos.

One advantage of a not-so-'developed'-country -no fertilizers, no pestizides, no fungizides, no herbizides - or at least much less of it than in highly industrialized (also in agriculture) Germany...where most of the butterflies have gone...
Beautiful, exceptionally captured with its shadow..

Another pretty little butterfly. Amazing, what colour patterns nature comes up with. Great shot, John. These animals do have a purpose just like many others do. The only animals that I can think of that don't seem to have a purpose are ticks. Now, what are they good for? ;-)
