No it is not......
....the south-end of a north bound polar bear!!!
....it is actually an edible white fluffy fungi that I discovered on a trip to the Bald Knob National wildlife Refuge......

That's OK - if I want to believe it's a polar bear ;-)But seriously, a captivating, eye-grabbing image. I like the way it stands out from the darker elements, yet is rich in detail, also the sense of scale provided by the smaller fungi.

But it could be ....the south-end of a north bound polar bear...it really could, or some ladys' lost white hat...with feather.......I have never seen a fungi like this Den, it looks just like a fur hat, the detail is excellent.
