Northern Sea - Skibotn

The arctic Ocean, snowy day, but great as well. The house is a Saami traditional Artist House with residency. It is called by the name of the founder of this house. Saami tradition is that housing is not allowed to block the way between underworld, human world and world of the airy realm. Therefore the art in residency house, sits on partly on stems but the center of the house is rock, a rock that is not put there, but yet was there for thousands of years. To give way to the airy realm, the rooftop is made from glas and slits.
